Merry Christmas!

We wanted to find a way to share Holiday Cheer with the boat builders at Tomco, but from such a distance, it was hard.  After tossing around a few thoughts, we settled on COOKIES!  Not just any cookies, but American Tug cookies.

We found a great resource for custom cookie cutters – Frankencutters, all the way out in Michigan.  Frank was awesome to work with, and despite a small delay when he broke his ankle and had to have surgery, our custom American Tug handmade copper cookie cutters were on their way to us in jig-time and production began.

We made almost 50 American Tug cookies, plus a few Scottish Terriers to keep it interesting.

It was a fun project.  The hardest part was keeping Bruce out of the finished product, and it was not small task packaging everything with the hope that they wouldn’t arrive in La Conner in a million small pieces.  Judging by the picture below of the crew with their cookies at their holiday pot-luck lunch, at least most of the product arrived in-tact.

The crew at Tomco show us that their cookies arrived (it seems) in one piece.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all!  Have a terrific New Year, and may there be many successful launchings in 2017!
